Full course description
The purpose of this training module is to explore psychological trauma and its impacts. This training module has the following learning objectives:
- Understand what psychological trauma is and how it impacts kids in foster care
- Understand the implications of the ACE study
- Identify strategies for successfully working with traumatized children
- Identify strategies to mitigate the impact of trauma on the caregiver
- Identify local resources and next steps
