The Core Training Options:
- Community Health Worker Fundamentals
- Community Integrated Health (aka Community Paramedic)
- Recovery Doula
- Fundamentals of Behavioral Health
Upon completion of the core training, the program includes additional and required developmental trainings designed to prepare individuals to be competent in working with youth and families impacted by OUD and SUD.
The development trainings required for the Montana Family Support Program include:
- Trauma-Informed Care
- Preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences
- Child Welfare and Substance Use **
- Addressing Stigma and Substance Use **
- Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMFHA) - Register for live, online course on webpage
- Management of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) - Register for live, online course on webpage
- Motivational Interviewing - Register for live, online course on webpage
- SBIRT (screening, brief intervention and referral to treatment) - Register for live, online course on webpage
- Question, Persuade, Refer with Substance Use (QPR) - Register for online course with Program Coordinator
These additional trainings consist of online, self-paced and online, instructor-led modules.
